Lifestance Health is currently seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to work in our Boise office. We are open to Psychiatrists seeking part-time or full-time opportunities. Additionally, we offer telepsych services to allow flexibility for both our patient & employees.

At LifeStance, the Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, Therapist, and patient relationship is our priority and providing comprehensive, collaborative, and compassionate care is the foundation of our culture. We offer flexible schedules and empower our Psychiatrists to determine the best course of treatment for each individual patient (whether it be psychotherapy, medication management or both). Additionally, you will have the ability to work a mix of office outpatient and telepsychiatry services remotely.

Compensation/Benefits Include

  • $300K to $390K compensation with uncapped earnings.

  • Psychiatrist must have a current, valid license to practice in the State of Idaho.

They have an advanced payment program which mean loan you money at first to keep you there. Payment based upon visit. Stressful work environment. Put patients into your schedule without considering their needs.

Each individual contributor on a team wears way too many hats. No reduction of work, even after discussing with supervisor / management. Lack of trust from management to team, and vice versa. Unfulfilled promises / timelines for career growth with little to no justification; give you more and more responsibilities without promotion.

Let me start off by saying I love my job as an OC. I love helping patients, answering the phones, and helping out my clinicians as they need me. I am the backbone of my office and feel my clinicians love and respect me and my job. My manager is amazing; always there when needed, doesn’t spoon feed you like a baby but lets you think critically and figure things out. This is the first job I’ve had where I don’t feel micromanaged. However, there is a substantial lack of communication from upper management above my manager. Things are not always communicated to us admin at the lowest level, such as policy changes, patient form updates, etc… I think our company is growing too big too quickly, and I know we’ve had numerous people quit in the short time I’ve been with the company. Pay is decent (~around mid $15 for me currently), but benefits aren’t that great. As a new hire you only accrue like 5 hours of PTO every 2 weeks which sucks since it isn’t split between vacation and sick time, it’s all combined into one. Health insurance plans are WAY too expensive for the coverage offered. I’m sure the benefits are nicer the longer you’ve been there (as with any company) but for the first few years it sucks. Overall I am happy with my job duties, my clinicians, and my manager. I am not happy with the pay and benefits packages offered by the company. With as much growth that has been happening over the past few years, you’d think they could afford to pay lower level employees more or have better health insurance plans to retain new employees

This is a mental health company where a lot of doctors come in and out they never stay more than a month it’s pretty sad but understandable because of the workload they have already when they do join. As an OC I see so many changes daily sometimes we are not updated or trained and it’s hard managers always say “ reach out to us for any help “ mind your there’s 4 ok and when we do we are left on read no response at all even when your in danger or have an emergency. They make you carry heavy boxes that is not your job duty. They make the doctors work remotely but not us because who cares if we get Covid right? No company raises at all. Managers could do better and not ignore us when all we need is help because of the constant change and revolving providers here. At least acknowledge us! This job has caused me my mental health anxiety and it’s a mental facility. Please do better for us all equally!
