Company reviews
"Great Place"
Current EmployeeTutor
Great flexible. I like the on demand schedule and ability to float rather than just waiting to be matched with a student. I also enjoy the live as well as assync sessions.

"Quality part time workplace"
Current EmployeeTutor
Working here has been excellent so far. Working with students and other customers is by and large a very fulfilling experience, though obviously it varies from person to person.

"Flexible but not enough hours"
Current EmployeeTutor
I like what I do. Helping students is satisfying. I have learned new feedback strategies and I have some support from my mentor. I am appreciative of the flexibility that this position offers. Ido feel the pay is very low and I do wish there were more guaranteed hours.

"Unfathomably nitpicky"
Former EmployeeTutor
Mentors and their superiors can be extremely nitpicky. They will take the tiniest microscopic or non existent issue and make it into a mountain and an excuse to fire you. They will even make up outright lies if necessary if you've been chosen to be fired. Job security here is 100% luck based. If your mentor decides you need to be fired, there is nothing you can do about it. Even if someone was the perfect tutor without even the slightest flaw, (yes I know that doesn't exist), he/she could still be fired because they have no problem with making up false accusations and with being upset with you concerning sessions where you have impossible students (ones who absolutely refuse to learn and just want to cheat.)
