In the process, we empower our nation’s teachers to express their vision of teaching by tutoring students and supporting their peers in the classroom.

The Role

Are you a passionate, mission-driven teacher who wants to help close the COVID learn loss gap? Are you looking to earn supplemental income? Then this part time role is for you!

We are seeking teachers to provide small group instruction virtually to students across the country (grades K-12!). We provide various engagement opportunities to our school partners, ranging from summer academies to remediation to homework help. For these specific engagements, we are looking for high school physics teachers across the country! Engagements can run anywhere between four to twelve weeks, and usually require a few hours of commitment during the week. Staffing isn't guaranteed once you've been admitted into our community, but it is likely:)

This role requires you to be based in the United States.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience teaching 9-12, specifically physics
  • Experience teaching in an online environment
  • Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom
  • A teaching credential

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with remediation, intervention or small group instruction
  • AP course experience (any APs) helpful!
  • Dedication to advancing equity in schools


The pay:

We pay $36 per tutoring session, which usually requires about one hour and fifteen minutes of work

Please note once you are hired, you will be staffed. Staffing isn't guaranteed once hired, and usually follows school semesters, trimesters or quarters.
