Company reviews
"Poor work/life balance, large caseloads, lack of transparency with management"
Former EmployeeSchool Counselor
Massive caseloads up to 800+ Students, no cap on enrollment, unrelated counseling duties - what school counselor does all the 504s for their grade? management decisions aren’t transparent which makes job security a concern, tons of meetings (up to 6 a day, some days), Special Education is difficult to work with and passes the buck, immediate supervisors are wonderful but their hands are tied at times. The staff huddle feels a little creepy and a waste of time with “shout out kudos” prattling on and on. One hand doesn’t speak to the other especially with continuity in certain policies, so it can be stressful. The salary payment schedule is odd too.

"Acceptable alternative for teaching online"

From the outside, there is much positive to say about cyber schools in general. The students can proceed at their own pace and much of the negatives associated with public schooling for both student and teacher can be avoided.
