Company reviews
"Hard to get in there full time."
Former EmployeeCustomer Representative
They want to keep everyone on as a temp, meaning you are on a contract and can only work for a limited time. Pay is decent, would just be nice if good workers had the opportunity to become full time.
Pros:
Cons:

"Crazy industry, requiring odd hours. It’s all about your team and the people who help support you."
Current EmployeeSales Associate
Zimmer Biomet has a considerable support system to develop sales professionals. As long as you are apart of a good team you will have the proper help to achieve your goals.

Cons:

"Overall a great place to make above average pay"

Fast paced and intense work environment. This is natural though, given that its a company that must meet the demands of the relentless healthcare industry. That being said, once you're locked into a position, theres generally not room for growth of moving upwards. If you are ok with that, then you'll do just fine there. I enjoyed my time while working there for the most part.

The pay scale has dropped dramatically since the merger over 5 years ago. Do not be surprised if someone that has been here for 7 years while you are in your first year, that person will make $10 an hour more than you, and the new pay scale will not allow you to ever catch that person. In other words, pay has dropped off so much that there are many more competitive companies out there. There are some departments that are better than others in terms of morale; it seems to be the luck of the department you get hired into that determines how your whole Zimmer experience will be. There is no transparency in terms of a pay scale, communication about future layoffs, and when the company is slow, there is a correlation of many people simply getting fired without a reason given. This company is not as revered as it once was given that its mission is its stakeholders, investors, not the people that are on the shop floor doing the dirty work.
