We are seeking a Chicago based Territory Sales Manager to join our high performing sales team. As a TM, you will cultivate and grow an ever expanding book of business in the Chicago market and beyond - connecting with Podiatrists and Orthopedists, creating lifelong Footmaxx raving fans (and customers!)
- Please note - this role is remote based but our sales leader must be based in/near the Chicago market / this TM will cover additional territory to include: Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, and Kentucky; travel 25%-50%
Key responsibilities include:
Listen, learn, listen, and...learn some more. You will become a Footmaxx subject matter expert and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of our products, technology, and the value-add we provide to the treatment plans offered by our business partners.
Go, go, go! (And GROW). You are committed to growing our business base in the Illinois territory and beyond; your tenacity, your follow-through, your diligence ensures you leave no professional stone unturned and you're maximizing opportunities, big and small.
Sell, upsell, inside-sell and outside-sell. There is no "set formula" for this role. As you develop the existing book of business, your day/week in the life will vary. Cold calling? Always. Site visits? Always. The mix? Varies. Your results will speak for themselves. You are committed to always promoting Footmaxx technology and orthotics as an integral component to their patients' protocols.
Educate, And re-educate. You are a sales educator who possesses a high level of subject matter expertise on our orthotics, rehabilitative equipment, and ancillary products. You communicate effectively with our medical professionals, ensuring they're always up to speed on products & services.
Collaborate. You work closely with marketing and sales operations to continuously refine and enhance organic and direct-to-customer outreach programs. Your collaboration ensures we're providing the highest level of sales, service, and account development.

A noteworthy track record of B2B sales success. You're entrepreneurial, driven, and dedicated to the art & science of selling a high quality product or service. Medical industry/medical device sales experience is not a must. This is a fantastic opportunity for a B2B professional to break into the medical device world.
Charisma and character. You're engaging, you're honest, you're emotionally intelligent. Basically, you're someone we're really love to call a Footmaxx employee.
You know your way around a CRM and/or other systems needed to run your business. You have the analytical know-how to assess your performance utilizing the tools at your disposal.
Relevant medical and/or industry related experience is a "nice to have" but certainly not a must. BUT, we'd certainly love to see product launch and new account development experience.
You're energized, you're organized, and gosh darn it you know how to PRIORITIZE. Sounds catchy but it's also true. We need sales professionals who know how to run their own "desk" and shift focus, shift priorities accordingly to maximize personal (and company) results.
