Purpose and Scope of Position
Senior Graphic Designer

Project Farma is looking for a qualified cross-functional candidate to join its Marketing Team as a Senior Graphic Designer. Our department produces quality work to support marketing efforts for Project Farma and its clients.

The Senior Graphic Designer will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for creating strong branded materials while also maintaining multiple marketing initiatives. At a high level the Senior Graphic Designer will act as the lead for all graphic design execution in addition to assisting the Marketing Manager in implementing strategic B2B and B2C marketing initiatives to support the annual strategy. This includes but is not limited to collateral creation, promotional activities, strategic partnerships, content management and analytical reporting.

This role will be cross-functional in its ability to assist in any additional high priority administrative tasks or duties.

The Senior Graphic Designer will be expected to:

  • Exhibit strong skills in both design execution and the management of related marketing efforts including promotional activities, strategic partnerships, content management and analytical reporting
  • Display an expert understanding of Adobe design software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and more) to ideate and implement strong imagery and branding for all print collateral and digital media
  • Maneuver effectively in a fast-paced and exciting environment, with the ability to execute project deliverables in accordance with shifting deadlines and priorities
  • Maintain and coordinate an annual and quarterly marketing budget with the Marketing Manage
  • Contribute to the ideation, management and execution of marketing campaigns to support the annual marketing strategy
  • Properly brand, manage, and coordinate company-wide events and conferences to align with Project Farma’s foundational thought leadership, CARES and culture initiatives
  • Provide the Marketing Manager active status updates on all ongoing project deliverables via project management software and daily stand-up meeting
  • Effectively aid the Marketing Manager in executing events including conferences, webinars, and more to support increased brand awareness
  • Provide analytical reporting for marketing campaigns against established measurable KPI
  • Create and maintain a bi-weekly social media calendar including content creation, graphic design coordination and approval by the Marketing Manage
  • Build strategic relationships and partnerships with key industry thought leaders, creative agencies and vendors
  • Remain up to date on industry trends, news and world events to better support the relevant and timely execution of outgoing marketing communication
  • Exhibit effective project management and communication with the Marketing Department and respond to all queries in an organized and timely manner


  • B.S. or M.S. in Graphic Design or a related discipline with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience in graphic design and fluency in Adobe Software (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Strong project management, organization and interpersonal skills
  • A solution-driven attitude and strong communication skills to navigate projects across multiple workstreams and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail for proper grammar
  • A robust understanding of relevant social media platforms and Microsoft Applications

Be careful the moment you walk into the door here. They will judge you for every little mistake they think you do. It's like the Getstapo. They will decide to move you across the country with little or no notice even if you asked not to go. Very poor organization once you get started. Many people there either have been there a while or are very young, which is a red flag for any company.

The nature of the industry, particularly the validation side, involves long, hard hours. They are upfront about this before hiring, which I appreciated. Even being prepared for the long hours, they can be grueling. Management holds everyone to a very high standard, which is great for personal growth, but frustrating when you make errors that stem mainly from overwork or knowledge/background gaps. Project Farma is also a newer company, so some systems are still being built or organized. If you prefer a very rigid structure to your workplace, that may be an issue for you.
