Remote Inside Sales - Rapid Advancement Opportunity

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position is remote and candidates must plan to work in Nevada or Utah.

As a member of our Sales Team you’ll focus primarily on prospecting businesses and helping them determine the appropriate mix of digital marketing services to maximize their online growth.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous Sales experience preferred
  • The desire to be good at sales, become autonomous, and close your own sales
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to uphold ethical selling practices
  • Quick, efficient computer skills and strong multi-tasking abilities

"Great start "

I moved to Portland at the end of last year. I then applied for and started in sales at Logical Position in March of this year. I’ve only worked here for 5 months but this job and the company have been amazing. This is my first sales job and I even have closed a few of my own deals. Even while working remote my team and manager has made it easy to get help and learn more week after week. The team environment is probably my favorite part of the job. They’ve been a huge key to my success. I wasn’t sure of what I would get from this job when I first applied but am thankful that I did apply and found my way onto this team.

As stated above, the job is challenging no doubt. I came from serving and zero experience on the phones cold calling. There are periods of time where the training seems redundant or doesn't make sense and then you jump on the phones and it seems like everything is so fast paced. All that being said, it was the best career move for myself. Selling a $1k+ service on the phone to a complete stranger, public speaking, teaching/coaching, digital marketing skills that companies pay top $$$ for, are all things I've learned while being here. Yes it's challenging, but it was worth it. Work place culture is good. The people that you work with are good people. Prospecting is a daily challenge but you do learn a lot of cool things about industries you've never heard of. Would do it all over again for the personal gain.

We make 55 calls per day to businesses to help them improve their marketing. Sales experience certainly helped me get a head start in this role. I did not make great money in the first 6 months (very typical of a sales role) but was able to improve my earnings by working at my craft. Very supportive management team.

"Very Informative just not for the pay"

I had worked for Logical Position for just a couple months. The interview and hiring process was great i felt very comfortable and welcomed and the training was very informative as well. Issue is once you are on the floor which is in about a week time span they are on you every day to get a sale or a link. Once training is over it's as if your job is constantly in jeopardy. Training was based on how to gain a good book of clients but not as much as all the services each business would need specifically, they sorta just assumed you would know what you would need to sign them up for. The managers know all of the information but expect you to know everything as well in a weeks span for over 6 different services they offer. You do learn a lot in the job as far as how digital marketing works but the hands on learning is non-existent. As far as the pay you make $12 (fast-food employees make above that) to make over 50 phone calls a day and make sales. If you don't get a sale within a month after training they give u one week to get one or you are fired (also note how they even tell you some sales takes months to get). Overall the work itself isn't bad, but for only $12/hr it's just ridiculous. They also tell you how they are monitoring your work all throughout the day so expect them to be calling and putting you in meetings all day, which takes away time to make 50 phone calls. The managers expect you to be pro's by the time you are out of training.
