Job description
The VP Direct Placement Solutions provides high-level strategic direction to the direct hire sales, sourcing, and, delivery functions across Manpower US. Es tablishes the operating model, sales strategy and targets, then drives efforts to ensure branches achieve their perm placement, direct hire and conversion fee objectives. Directly oversees development and performance for a team of Search Consultants nationally.

Work actively to convert permanent placement user prospects to user clients nationally

Drive Manpower's long-term strategic goals by identifying and enhancing new and innovative perm solutions and sectors

Provide the focus and strategies needed to increase our capabilities in perm recruiting in the digital space to further strengthen our talent/employer brand

Manage centralized Search Consultant team (average span of control 6-12 direct reports) that support designated Manpower markets

Partner with market leadership to effectively coach and train on permanent placement expertise and impart the overall knowledge necessary to manage a permanent placement operation at the branch/market level

Facilitate workshops to train and develop techniques and share best practices. Educate leaders and front line employees on innovative recruitment methodologies

Partner with the field organization to identify needs, then co-create and deliver new, custom or innovative perm placement solutions

Equip Search Consultants and field recruiters with specific market trends, vertical knowledge and perm expertise to penetrate the market with in-demand candidate profiles

Establish collaborative partnerships with internal and external senior level leaders across Manpower, acting as a key influencer on overall Manpower strategy

Increase external brand recognition and awareness around full service recruitment offerings through thought leadership, external events/engagement, and strong voice

Attend client meetings and co-develop proposals, representing Manpower as ambassador in the delivery of perm placement solutions

Drive all aspects of perm recruitment for the team and provide exceptional customer service to our candidates and clients

Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent experience
Perm Recruiting : 5 + year on perm placement and /or full cycle recruiting with additional industry experience in recruitment, sales, or account management
Industry Knowledge: 7 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role or building a permanent placement division, knowledge of verticals and the staffing industry
