Director of Complex Litigation in Los Angeles

Esquire Deposition Solutions is now looking for a Director in Los Angeles. We are a legal service company and are in need of an inspiring Business Developer. We specifically seek an individual with 5+years of litigation experience and a subject matter expert in complex litigation and litigation discovery process. Do you possess a consultative approach to selling in a dynamic technological market in transition? This role requires established relationships with Litigation Attorneys in AMLAW 100 Firms. Executive level skills are musts when selling, presenting, and communicating both orally and written. JOB DUTIES:

  • Identify large complex cases for new opportunities to grow revenue in an assigned Region or markets
  • Successful at hunting and securing net new opportunities
  • Maximize and grow existing relationships to earn the opportunity to bid on large cases
  • Achieve revenue growth targets and meet or exceed established KPI metrics using designated sales enablement tools
  • Align sales strategy to the defined Esquire five pillars
  • Meet and exceed established individual performance metrics and objectives through strategic and consultative selling techniques
  • Must have a very good working knowledge of technology including video conferencing technology, Microsoft Office products, NetSuite and Salesforce
  • Fully utilize Salesforce as a sales tool to drive sales activity to achieve published KPIs, manage opportunities, engage pricing or RFP support, and activity management
  • Possess the ability to multi-task based on internal employee and external client needs
  • Strong initiative to manage a territory like it is one’s own business
  • Ability to nurture relationships
  • Ability to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of Esquire products and solutions and how they apply to the prospective client’s needs
  • Actively demonstrate our company values
  • Collaborate with other sales and operations leaders
  • Ensure adherence to the Esquire Sales Policy
  • Participate in local association meetings and gatherings
  • Plan and conduct networking events to generate brand recognition for Esquire

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to network and develop relationships
  • Highly energetic, with a sense of urgency and adaptability
  • Organized and process-oriented with the ability to follow a defined sales process
  • Solid business acumen and innovative thinking skills
  • Self-directed, proactive decision-maker
  • Team player with the ability to work closely with others to reach a common goal
  • Knowledgeable of Salesforce, NetSuite, and Microsoft office suite of products

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:

  • Experience in an adjacent industry
  • 5-10 years in the litigation market
  • 5 years of sales experience strongly preferred; experience selling into the legal business to business industry
  • Experience working collaboratively in teams in a corporate setting is highly desired
  • Winning track record of meeting and exceeding individual and team performance based metrics

MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS

  • Quota attainment for new business
  • Number of qualified large case bids
  • Meet or exceed sales activity metrics
