"A great job if not for the managers. "
Former EmployeeOperations Technician
A very enjoyable and fulfilling job... Until management shows up to your site. The 2 managers in Cleveland are like 2 little kids trying to play house! They are completely out of touch with reality. Normally, you wake up excited to see your coworkers and team, in this case you dread going to work. It's enough to make a grown man cry in the shower. Safety is priority 1.. until it cuts into profits or process. The environment is toxic and stressful. Management talks bad about employees to other employees. HR has been notified multiple times about the toxic environment and it's like they don't care.

Cons:

"Easy, great pay. Zero work/life balance "
Current EmployeeTruck Driver
Easy job and you can make almost as much money as your heart desires, but you’ll have zero work/life balance. Guys with 30 years experience still working weekends and holidays. Driver facing cameras are coming as well. Are you willing to sacrifice your life & freedom for money?

"Supportive Management and Opportunities for Growth"
Current EmployeeHuman Resources Specialist
Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging are at the forefront of our culture. Everyone feels like they belong and matter and collaboration among everyone is encouraged. Our leadership is supportive and employees are recognized for their work. Safety is not just something we say, it is how we live. You won't find another culture like Air Products - people truly care and support you.

Cons:

"Great Pay and Benifits that costs you everything "
Former EmployeeTruck Driver
You will work weekends and holidays forever, Even Christmas. We had a driver with 33 years seniority that they forced to work holidays. The only way to get any weekend day off is to work nights. 12-14 hour days are expected and they will beg your to work a sixth day endlessly. Seniority only counts for picking vacation days and bidding on start times. Even though they let certain people work the start time they want. There is NO work/family/life balance. NONE. There is constant video, gps, and truck sensor surveillance. Driver facing camera and AI surveillance is next on their agenda, while the plant and trucks are barely maintained. They will follow you while driving and spy on you while delivering. The entire environment feel is one of oppression and resentment. The moral there is horrible. I had 6 different terminal supervisors while working there. Only one actually knew how to be a manager and understood the trucking business. The rest just collected a pay check and stepped on you to climb the ladder or just didn’t care enough to be concerned about driver issues. I left after 17 years and haven’t regretted it at all. I went to work for a trucking company that cares about drivers. As all the managers will tell you. Air Products is a chemical company not a trucking company. They treat their drivers as such.
