The Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies at UTSA is currently seeking to fill at least three positions. The posting will remain open until 11:59 P.M CDT on 08/30/2021. Senior Lecturer - $3,500 per class.

Lecturer - $2,500 per class

Hours per Week
10 hours per week, non-benefits eligible FTT Faculty position.

Essential Functions
Primary duties will be teaching courses at the graduate level in the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies. The expected teaching load is one course per semester.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
  • A minimum of two years teaching experience at UTSA or commensurate experience at another institution.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate effective skills in teaching graduate level courses.
  • Applicants must have successful teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree
  • Lecturer II Preferred certifications and training;
    • Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) Trainer of Trainers (TOT)
    • Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) Trainer of Trainers (TOT) and/or
    • Completed Field Supervisor Coaching Training for Advanced Certification Candidates.

Additional Information
The anticipated start date of August 1, 2021.

This is currently a telecommuting position and it is expected to return to campus in the future. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments. At times, telecommuters are required to work on campus, travel and parking expenses are the responsibility of the employee.

This is a non-benefits eligible, part time (10 hours per week) FTT Faculty Position.
