Opportunity for advancement is good with Amgen. They recognize their employees. Work/life balance is something Amgen is good for. Management cares for the employees as well. Culture is great at Amgen, you will be able to speak with people from around the world.

"Great working environment but limited career progression paths"
Current Employee
While it's sometimes stressful to work at Amgen, the management team and working conditions are quite good. Unfortunately talent retention does not seem high on the company's priorities list as it is extremely difficult to get permanently employed by Amgen and most people working there are contingent workers hired by a third party company and are assigned year-long "project assignments". That means that each week you have to fill in two timesheets - one for your direct employer and one for Amgen.
