Company reviews
"Too good to be true"
Former EmployeeGuide
I worked as an insurance guide and within the first 3 weeks I made 4k... Calls were steady... Once open enrollment kicked in calls declined. I relied on this job to support my family. Fortunately, I was able to secure a better job.

"I'm not really sure on what to say about this company"
Current EmployeeInsurance Agent
I just started working with Assurance on 9/23/21 and I can say that during training they make it seem as if it is all peaches and cream, but when actually on the platform it's an entirely different story. They expect for you to push every sale, even to those who aren't interested in purchasing life insurance. I can say that this is not for someone who is used to a 9-5 and actually knowing that they will get paid. With Assurance you have to work hard to earn one sale. They also listen in on all the calls and while you're on a call with a shopper they attend to talk to you while they are talking and it's very hard to hear what the shopper is saying. I'm not really happy right now with my experience with working as a Life Insurance Agent with Assurance. I'm currently in the process of trying to find another company to work with. I'm still going to give it a try until I find something else. It may turn around Idk yet like I said this is only my first week working with them. The platform is set up nice but you have to make sure that you read word for word of the script. The calls can be hectic at time but you have to just remain professional and keep it moving. Also, I think that their advertisement isn't right, very falsifying to shoppers and they expect to receive that certain amount for that type of pay each month and not knowing that they must read the fine print and actually apply, and it's not always a guarantee.
Pros:

"Long hours and micro managing "
Current EmployeeIndependent Agent
I went into this with a very positive mindset and have been here a little over a week and already feel depleted. They pay you an advance on commission but on policies that haven’t been approved so this can back fire. They only allow you to sell their products and I feel these people can go and find better insurance quotes elsewhere.

"Fun place to work at."
Former EmployeeSales Support Representative
The management group are a great group of people that actually care about their employees. They are fast to respond and go the extra mile in assisting you with any issues you may be having.
