Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Attend meetings, conferences, and conduct training in support of staff to increase understanding of mental health diagnoses and specific problem solving to assist clients in meeting their mental health goals.
  • Must have reliable transportation when home circumstances require in-home visitation
  • Complete mental health notes/hours and requested reports in a timely manner.
  • Organize and complete required LMFT hours for each home assigned
  • Provide mental health resources to staff and unassigned individuals when requested.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
  • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.

EDUCATION

  • Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
  • LMFT/LCSW with current California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) required
  • Must have taken Supervisory CEUs (BBS approved)

EXPERIENCE

Experience with residential and outpatient mental health facilities preferred

Experience with adults with developmental disabilities

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $70.00 per hour

It’s a fun job with kids with many support from managers that want to help you improve but lack of consistent hours. No pay for cancellations and mileage and travel not always available

Overall you will not get your full hours. They will start you at 25hrs or less which is why the pay is high. You will have 2 hour sessions seeing three clients daily plus driving everywhere but only compensated for in between clients

I can honestly say the only reason i have not left is my admin. She is VERY kind and understanding and she actually cares for us. As for the company they don't give raises and there isn't many opportunity for growth within the company.
