Job description

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Clinical Trial Monitor for a remote & travel-based opportunity to join a global clinical research organization dedicated to making lives better through successful clinical trials.

Responsibilities of the
Clinical Trial Monitor

  • Work with a close-knit team of highly qualified CRAs to identify, select, initiate, and close-out investigational sites for clinical studies in phases II-III
  • Independently coordinate all necessary activities required to set up and monitor a study, including reporting on study status, maintaining study documentation, reviewing feasibility studies, effectively responding to sponsor queries, and maintaining study cost effectiveness
  • Opportunities to assist and mentor less experienced CRAs and CRAs working on international projects

Qualifications of the
Clinical Trial Monitor

  • Minimum 6 months experience in active, independent field monitoring is required
  • Therapeutic experience in oncology, diabetes, or vaccines is preferred
  • Knowledge of ethics/IRB approval process and adhering to ICH-GCP guidelines
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ within your region
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required

Compensation for the
Clinical Trial Monitor

  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000, depending on level of experience
