Of course you'll have some a few unpleasant co workers.. BUT WE HAVE A LOT OF GOOD HARD WORKING CO WORKERS . SHEPHERD has great bonus (Shares) , appreciation incentives every year for The EMPLOYEES. THE SHEPHERD PEERS/EMPLOYEES/STAFF are majority FRIENDLY, KIND, HELPFUL, DEDICATED, and RESPECTFUL. Every day working there you'll have the privilege to assist a patient with their needs while working. They are hiring NOW looking for TEAM PLAYERS.. If You or someone you know looking to join the SHEPHERD TEAM.. You won't be disappointed.

Cons:

"It's the same as so many places in Atlanta. It's best to keep to yourself. They just need a body."
Current EmployeeRegistered Nurse
Management are busy taking care of themselves not staff. They have an outdated mentality that they refuse to really change. There isn't any diversity in upper management so they can't relate to different types of people. Therapy comes first then nursing....good luck.

Cons:

"Fun place to work"
Current EmployeeHousekeeper
Good place to work people are great I feel like my work really matters. Enjoy working for this company. I have worked at many hospitals and shepherd is one of the best places to work. This is the only place I really see a team work environment. If the department is short staffed the managers supervisor and team leads don’t mind getting up and doing work. The only down fall is I’m only part time

"Nice facility"
Former EmployeeRespiratory Therapist
This could be a good job, but the manager and supervisor are gossip queens. Unprofessional! The therapist that are full time have been there many years and good at what they do.
