Job description

The Institute for Solution-Focused Therapy is looking for a Spanish Editorial Intern to join our team for the Spring 2022 term!

Internship Duration: January 17th - April 15th

Expectations: Interns are expected to work 10h week for a stipend of $800 paid over the 3-month tenure. Opportunities for the extension of the internship and the future negotiation of the stipend may be available. Internship will be fully remote.

Qualifications:

  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accredited university in the United States pursuing a degree in technical writing, literature, or similar field in humanities or the social sciences
  • Must be proficient in Spanish. Non-native speakers will be asked to submit proof of their language skill.
  • Experience working with the G Suite (Google Workspace)
  • Interest in solution-focused therapy, mental health, or psychology is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the main Spanish-translator in the development of the translation of written material and instructional videos (transcripts) of the Institute’s courses
  • Proofread and comment written material for the Institute’s translations
  • Proofread and comment past and future the Institute’s blog posts translations
