Research and Data Entry Intern
Elevation Strategies2.0
Job description

Are you looking for an internship opportunity that will give you extensive research experience, a deep understanding of the construction of political campaigns, and exposure to New York Politics?

If so, the Elevation Strategies Research and Data Internship is for you!

Elevation Strategies is a minority owned up and coming political firm that supports progressive candidates in New York City. We offer technical support to candidates in all five boroughs and in every level of local government through social media, field voter outreach, campaign power mapping, and other tailored needs to countless Democratic candidates. We operate with a small and limited team with each person on it specializing in a certain skill.

As a part of our research and data team, interns lead the research efforts providing our clients with necessary information to run successful campaigns. Working with both quantitative and qualitative research, interns will have the opportunity to improve their analysis skills. You will be exposed to policy and demographic research, data entry, data analysis, cutting turfs, and creating lists. Interns will have the chance to apply their learnings to real policy and platform development efforts. No coding skills will be required or necessary.

As an intern at Elevation, you will play an integral role in contributing to the framework of our firm. Real world political experience will boost your skill level when you enter the job market, which is why we require our interns to be diligent. Our interns do meaningful work, and are not just expected to file papers or go on coffee runs. Interns are expected to be able to work at a high level independently.
