Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in ongoing training and compliance to all state rules and regulations.
  • Ensure accuracy of information collected.
  • Participate in activities designed to improve consumer satisfaction and business performance.
  • Place and/or receive consumer inquiries that may require deviation from a script or sales flow process.
  • Conduct effective consultative selling by asking appropriate questions and matching the right product to the consumer’s needs, resulting in closed sales as well as increased consumer satisfaction.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of products, pricing, procedures, and other important issues through management communications, meetings, client focus groups, and formal training.
  • Comply with all do-not-call and insurance regulatory standards.

Education & Professional Certifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

Candidate Profile:

  • Ability to successfully take tests and retain knowledge.

  • Demonstrated success in an inbound or outbound sales environment.
  • Capacity to learn complex processes and policies.
  • Detail oriented

Environment, Physical & Other Requirements:
Ability to perform light hand activity work at a computer/telephone station in a secure home office environment. Position is primarily sedentary. May stretch or stand at workstation for short periods at employee’s option, as long as such activity does not detract from the employee’s work, or interfere with other employees.

I enjoyed working at this place when it was Convergys. I had been thereclose to 20 yrs at the time Concentrix bought them out. Once Concentrix bought them the job changed somewhat. We could pretty much tell we were going to eventually close. This was a shame because this company had a pretty good share of the call center market in Tucson. I had been a Team Leader there for most of my time there barring maybe 8 months at the beginning. Being a Team Manager, I felt that I had a good support team behind me, and that we were doing the best we could to make the agents successful. This was a goog place to work because everyone worked together as a team. In the time I was there I even had several of my family members working there. If they come back to Tucson in the capacity they were when the bought Convergys, I would recommend giving them a try. I know I would apply in a heartbeat.

The company models itself around constant acknowledgement of your failures but no acknowledgement of your success/improvement. Meetings are constantly held to air employee shortcomings but never to discuss any successes or improvements made in a particular area. If you miss a shift you are deducted whole points which can lead to your termination, if you make perfect attendance for 14 days you are awarded half a point. They told us about thia points system with a straight face, as though we didnt feel like prisoners in a cult with carrots dangled above our heads. If your system is down good luck getting any help or getting paid that day.
