How we will compensate you.

You have the power to drive your own income with our commission-based compensation. The average income of our more than 12,000 financial professionals who sold at least one life insurance policy in 2020 was $91,351. The average income of nearly 6,000 of our Registered Reps who sold at least one life insurance policy in 2020 was $134,369.7 Benefits include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) and pension.8

The Northern California office is completely unorganized and they only help those agents that they like. There is a lot of favoritism and there is no beneficial training involved. They expect you to sit in zoom meetings with management talking about nothingness and they talk down to you and make you feel worthless.

Training was a bit jumbled but all in all a decent place to work. Just be ready to reference about 1-3 out of forty 14-30 page pdf manuals on various life insurance policy subjects/processes at any given time as well as multi-manage 20 other windows on 2-3 monitors during each call. You know..typical customer service call center work.

Your future as a claims manager truly depends on the team you get put on after your OJT. Luckily the team I was placed on is amazing. I do feel if I was placed in a different team I wouldn’t feel so much the same. There is good work life balance with the amount of PTO and some of us even have a flex day. Cons are it is not the most organized between departments, customer service reps give a lot of incorrect info to customers which they can take out and you and don’t expect to always get a yearly raise. The perks of this job are nice however I feel underpaid with the amount of work given to us. Also there is constant change.
